i’mPACT Partners with His Children in Zipacara, Colombia

Here we are in Zipacara, Colombia, working alongside the incredible foundation His Children. This beautiful place is run entirely by volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to support young children. They teach valuable life skills, the importance of working and saving, and various trades that can be utilized in the real world. Their mission is to empower these children with good self-esteem and strong values.

In June, i’mPACT had the privilege of joining forces with His Children. During our visit, we were able to bless 60 children with goody bags containing vitamins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bubbles, and snacks. We conducted lessons on proper dental hygiene and engaged in sports activities, emphasizing good sportsmanship and boosting self-esteem.

Jennifer, the founder of i’mPACT and a nurse practitioner, provided medical checkups for all 60 children and evaluated the volunteers as well. We brought back essential medicine for the children who needed it and supplies for those suffering from malnutrition.

Our commitment doesn’t end there. Each month, i’mPACT volunteers will bring nutrition and vitamins to improve the health and weight of malnourished children. In November, we will return to re-evaluate the children's health progress. We also plan to visit other locations of His Children in Colombia to provide the same care and support.

His Children is a beautiful organization dedicated to loving and protecting at risk children. Currently, they lack a roof, and we hope to raise the funds needed to complete this crucial project.
